Player of the Week
Quinn Moorhead
12U AA- Bojarski
Quinn demonstrated great offensive awareness, tremendous hustle, and strong skating throughout the weekend. His solid net-front presence created multiple scoring chances, and contributed to two goals and an assist, showcasing how quiet determination and consistency pay off. Great job Quinn.
Jaxon Murtaugh
12U A American- Corey/Towey
Jaxon was outstanding in net this weekend, helping the team achieve a 3-1 win over the Huntsmen. He was under pressure all game, with opponents crashing his crease and getting in his face. Jaxon kept battling and making save after save. His focus and maturity in a tough, physical game gave the whole team confidence. Congratulations, Jaxon!
Maddie Killion
10U A American- Ritter
Maddie showed non-stop hustle throughout the second and third periods against the Nighthawks. She added two assists and created additional numerous chances while consistently setting up her teammates. Great hustle, Maddie!
Jack Ritter
10U A American- Ritter
Jack had an outstanding game against the Quakers. He battled tirelessly through a back-and-forth contest and scored a hat trick to help lead the Cougars to victory.
Play of the Week
Joey Regester
16U AA- Grassi
Joey picks up a loose puck in front of our net, goes coast-to-coast, chips it off the wall past two defenders, and buries it top-shelf for the shorthanded game winner.
Hudson Reihl and Trevor Blaine
10U A National- Blaine
We always say that puck possession wins games, and readiness at the face-off dot is where it all begins. Seeing our center and winger communicate, agree on a plan, and immediately execute it for a goal was a textbook example of great teamwork. That is smart, unselfish hockey!
