Road Closures on Saturday Morning
There will be road closures on Saturday due to the Mushroom Cap ½ Marathon. Please plan to use an alternate route as W. Street Rd./Route 926 will be closed from Route 82 (the main route to Chester County Skating Club).
Some Alternate Routes:
Take Route 82 North past 926- around the traffic circle. Turn left on Newark Road. Make a left on Route 926 East and then make a right on Byrd Road (the rink will be on your right).
If you are traveling on Route 1, continue on Route 1 PAST the Route 82 (Unionville/Kennett Square) exit. Take the exit for Toughkenamon (Newark Road). Turn right off the exit onto Newark Road (north). Turn right on Line Road. Turn left onto Byrd Road (rink will be on your left).

Play and Player of the Week
Chase Mullarkey
16U AA Grassi
Chase had 2 goals and 3 assists in 3 games this weekend including the game winner against the Union Thunder on Saturday.
Nolan Brown
10U A National
Nox Martin makes a great defensive effort in overtime skating back to retrieve puck possession and headman the puck to Nolan Brown who drives the net scoring the game winning goal in a thrilling come from behind victory.
Noah Eitnier
10U B Eisel
During a play in the neutral zone, Noah unintentionally knocked down an opposing player. After getting up, he immediately skated over to check on the player to make sure they were okay â even as the play continued.
At the next whistle, the referee took notice and came over to the bench to recognize Noah for his outstanding sportsmanship. He shared how much he appreciated seeing that level of care and respect on the ice, adding with a chuckle that next time, Noah might want to wait until the whistle before checking in.
Hockey can be a fast-paced and physical sport, but moments like this remind us of the importance of empathy, respect, and awareness. Small moments like these can shape the way organizations positively perceive CCSC. Weâre proud to have Noah setting such a positive example for his teammates and representing our organization with integrity and heart.
Tate Gerbron
10U A American Shaw
Tate found open ice, gained the zone and made a great shot over the goaltender glove hand.
