Head Coaches

10U Head Coach: Adam Blaine
I’m fortunate to have been introduced to this great game at an early age, starting my hockey journey in the DVHL, advancing through to Prep School, Junior, and Collegiate levels. My coaching journey began immediately following college, and includes experience working with players 8U through college, and every age and skill level in between.
Coaching and working with hockey players remain a passion. Watching players grow, improve, and develop not only as athletes but as individuals is what motivates me every day in the rink. My goal has always been to make a positive impact on players, both on and off the ice, and I look forward to continuing that journey with our 10U athletes this season.

12U Head Coach: Joe O'Reilly
I am filled with excitement and enthusiasm to be selected as the 12U Head Coach for this season. It is truly an honor to be part of such a dedicated and passionate hockey community. This marks my fourth-year coaching, and each season continues to reinforce my deep appreciation for the sport and the incredible bonds it creates. When I first started coaching, it didn’t take long for me to feel welcome and encouraged to contribute to an already thriving hockey family. The Barn is more than just a rink—it’s a place where players, families, and coaches come together to support one another, learn, and most importantly, have fun playing hockey. 12U is a pivotal age in a player’s hockey journey, where they begin to refine critical aspects of the game while also developing confidence and camaraderie. I look forward to being part of that process, helping each player grow both on and off the ice. I’m excited for the season ahead and can’t wait to get started. Let’s go, Cougars!

14U Head Coach: Eric Figueroa
I am truly excited and honored to be named the head coach of the 14U team for 2025-2026 season again. CCSC has felt like our hockey family from Day 1. Both of my children have learned to skate at the club from an early age. We’ve built friendships with many wonderful people at the club. It really is one big hockey family. As the saying goes, “It takes a village.” CCSC is that village and I am proud to be a part of it.
My coaching philosophy is simple. Believe/ trust/ succeed. Believe in yourself, trust your teammates, and succeed as a whole. This great game will teach a person many things. It will test your skills, fortitude, and emotions. My goal is to prepare our players for their future in hockey and to conduct themselves with the utmost respect for their teammates, coaches and opponents. We will learn to win and lose as a team and to learn how to overcome adversity. I can’t wait to watch our children progress, and I’m excited for this upcoming season. Let’s go Cougars!

16U Head Coach: Drew Grassi
I’m honored to be selected as the 16U head coach this season. This is my fourth season with the club and third as head coach. I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the success of this great program.
Our coaches will empathize hard work, dedication and respect while building a strong team on and off the ice.
I’m looking forward to another fun, successful season. Let’s go Cougars!

18U Head Coach: Gary Doucette
After 3 years coaching in Idaho, my wife and I returned to PA. I am excited to be back with the Cougars and look forward to coaching the 18’s. Returning to this level with Nick Basilio and Joe DiPierro is the perfect situation.
I am a Level 5 Coach and a USA Hockey Coach Developer. In my 30+ years of coaching, I have coached every level from Mites to Juniors.
Both of my kids, Madison (Unionville, Jr Flyers) and Philippe (CCSC, Unionville, ASU) are done playing hockey but my passion for the game has not diminished. Regardless of age, everyone needs a place to get away and just have fun. For me, it has always been the rink. Ensuring the same is true for my players is a large part of my coaching philosophy. We will have fun but make no mistake, our goal is to win hockey games.
I am excited to be part of a team that plays hockey the “right” way; up tempo and physical with a high compete level. We will be a team that is hard to play against. Go Cougars!
