8U Girls Triumph at the Groundhogs Day Jamboree

It was another awesome weekend for our CCSC Girls. The girls had a ton of fun and easily went 6-0 and only allowed *ONE* goal against the entire day! Good luck to the 8U Girls Team this weekend at the All Girls Mite Beach Bash in Ocean City, MD.

Congratulations to our 18U Senior Players

Thank you to everyone who attended the 18U Senior Player Recognition game last Sunday. The Donovan Scholarship recipients were announced at the game. We have a few photos from the event to share.

The Billy Donovan Scholarship was awarded to Cole Blackburn.

Cole has always been the iconic little brother at the rink, with a mischievous glint in his eye, loving every minute spent in the barn. He continues to be a player who lights up the ice and the locker room alike. Whether it’s an extra practice, a heated game, or just time spent with teammates, Cole’s enthusiasm for the sport is unmatched. As our unanimous captain, he has inspired those around him with his intensity, integrity, and unwavering determination. Congratulations Cole for winning the 2024 Billy Donovan Scholarship!

The John Q. Donovan Scholarship was awarded to Colin Kelly.

Colin's insight, composure, and ability to see the bigger picture make him an invaluable presence on and off the ice. Colin has filled every role with quiet determination and zero reservation—whether on the power play, penalty kill, first line, fourth line, or anywhere in between. His versatility, selflessness, and dependability have made him the rock we turn to in every critical situation. His loyalty, work ethic, and leadership have left an indelible mark on our program. No doubt that one day he will make an exceptional coach himself, carrying forward the same commitment to hockey that this scholarship celebrates.
