Program Updates
Learn to Play: Session #2
📅 Session #2: 10/25, 11/1, 11/8, 11/15, 11/22, 11/29
⏰ Time: Sundays 4:30-5:20 p.m.
ℹ️ Details:
The CCSC Learn to Play Program is designed for children who have been through the Learn to Skate program and are comfortable on skates
For players with little or no organized hockey experience
CCSC Learn to Play will focus on:
FUN!
Developing fundamental skills
Good sportsmanship
Team play
General rules and structure of the game in an informal environment
Full hockey equipment is required (please see the Upland Used Equipment Sale flyer below for used equipment)
Family skate and Open Hockey are included for the full duration of the session
Ages 4 and up
🏷️ Fee: $180 per session ($25 discount for each subsequent session, contact jaimeescheff@yahoo.com for code)
Flyers Learn to Play Rookie Program

First-time participants receive head-to-toe equipment

Peyton Tinney
12U AA - Bojarski
Peyton had a great game against the Flyers Youth this weekend! Peyton played with great intensity, strong teamwork, and an incredibly positive attitude throughout the game. His strong presence in front of the net helped create opportunities for the Cougars, and ultimately led to the overtime, game-winning goal! Peyton brought energy, determination, and a team-first mentality when it mattered most. Great job Peyton!
Nolan Brown
12U A American - Corey/Towey
Nolan had a great game against the Quakers this weekend, finishing with two goals and one assist. He was the most effective player on the ice, consistently calling out the breakout, hustling, and making great passes. His energy was a galvanizing force this weekend, engaging the entire team. Nice work Nolan!
Cece Corey
10U A American - Ritter
Cece had an outstanding game this weekend against the Hershey Bears! She was exceptional in net, making several huge saves on breakaways and odd-man rushes to keep the Cougars in control. When the game got tight, and Hershey battled back from a 0-3 deficit to make the score 3-2, Cece showed exactly what kind of competitor she is. She stayed focused, battled through the pressure, and continued to make big-time saves when we needed them most to preserve the win! Way to battle Cece! Your determination, composure, and clutch saves made a huge difference in this game and helped the Cougars earn the win!
Play of the Week
Matthias Pruckmayr
16U AA - Grassi
Matthias brings a strong work ethic and relentless effort every time he steps on the ice, helping set the tone for the team. On Sunday, he got the scoring started by battling the puck out of the corner, beating the defense, and finishing the play with a great short-side shot. His effort, determination, and ability to create opportunities continue to make an impact for the team.

Rink Parking Lot Reminders
As practices continue and games ramp up, we are reminded to please observe the following parking lot guidelines:
Traffic flows counterclockwise around the parking lot
There is no parking in front of the glass doors
For the safety of our families, please park when arriving to pick up your children (i.e. no car lines). Vehicles frequently attempt to pull around other stopped cars, creating a dangerous environment in areas where children may be walking
