The Club has officially opened for the season, and we are excited to welcome everyone back to the rink! The Cougars have been practicing this week, and Family Skate and Open Hockey are scheduled for this weekend. Please check the schedule below for the times.

Weekend Rink Schedule

Family Skate

Saturday	11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Sunday	2:00 to 5:30 p.m.

Open Hockey

10U and Under	Saturday	7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
12U and Over	Saturday	8:00 to 9:15 p.m.

Learn to Play—Registration is now OPEN for Session #1

📅 Session #1: 9/21, 9/28, 10/5, 10/12, 10/19, 10/26

⏰ Time: Sunday 4:30–5:20 p.m.

ℹ️ Details:

• The CCSC Learn to Play program is designed for children who have been through the Learn to Skate program and are comfortable on skates.​​

• For skaters with little or no organized ice hockey experience. 

• CCSC Learn to Play will focus on: 

  • FUN!

  • Developing fundamental skills

  • Good sportsmanship

  • Team play

  • General rules and structure of the game in an informal environment 

• Full hockey equipment is required.  

• Family Skate and Open Hockey are included for the full duration of the session. 

• Ages 4 and up. 

🏷️ Fee: $180 per Session ($25 discount for each subsequent session)

• 📅 Session Dates: Begins Wednesday, Nov. 5th and runs through the first weekend of March.

• ⏰ Time: Wednesdays 6:20–6:50 p.m

• ℹ️ Details:

  • Concludes with the Annual Figure Skating Show, where the Learn to Skate participants will perform their new skills

  • Learning to skate is fundamental to both our ice hockey and our figure skating programs

  • We are proud to offer qualified and experienced instructors

  • The Learn to Skate membership includes the Family Membership benefits (do not sign up for both memberships)

  • The sibling discount does not apply to Learn to Skate

• 🏷️ Fee: $600 per skater

• 📅 Session Dates: Begins Wednesday, Oct. 1st and runs through the first weekend of March.

• ⏰ Time: Monday 6:50–8:10 p.m. and Wednesday 7:00–8:10 p.m.

• ℹ️ Details:

  • Concludes with the Annual Figure Skating Show, where the Learn to Skate participants will perform their new skills

  • Learning to skate is fundamental to both our ice hockey and our figure skating programs

  • We are proud to offer qualified and experienced instructors

  • The Figure Skating membership includes the Family Membership benefits (do not sign up for both memberships)

Upland Used Sports Equipment Sale

📅 Dates: Saturday, September 6th

⏰ Time: 9 a.m.–12 p.m.

📍 Location: Upland's gymnasium There is usually LOTS of hockey equipment for sale at very reasonable prices!

If you have outgrown hockey equipment to donate, there will be a labeled bin near the Warm Room at the Barn from 9/2–9/5.  Sports equipment from any sport is accepted.
